Discord alerts
New activity posted to a Discord channel as rich embeds — filtered the way you want. A Pro feature.
Get new programs, assets, commits, releases, contests, and audits posted straight into a Discord channel as rich embeds. Delivery uses Discord’s built-in incoming webhooks — no bot to install and nothing to host.
Discord alerts are a Pro feature (your trial counts). Lapse to Free and delivery pauses, then resumes when you’re back.
- Create a webhook in Discord
In your server, open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook. Pick the channel it should post to, then Copy Webhook URL.
- Add it in BountyHunt
On Notifications, under Discord, click Add, paste the URL and give it a name. We detect the Discord URL and post embeds — no signing secret or custom headers needed.
- Pick what you get
Set the event filter (see below), then Create. Hit Test on the card to fire a sample embed into the channel and confirm it’s wired up.
Custom filters
Each Discord destination carries its own named filter. Set it on three axes:
- Events — Kinds (commits, releases, contests…), Sources (Sherlock, Cantina…), and Types (bug bounty vs competition). Filters are AND-ed; leave one empty to match everything. With no Kinds set you get every signal except the new-asset firehose.
- Programs — all programs, only ones you follow, or a specific set.
- Assets — optionally narrow to specific repos, contracts, or domains.
The Code changes only toggle drops commits that only touched docs, tests or CI.
Delivery
Matches post to the channel within about a minute. A burst is grouped before it’s sent — commits, releases and PRs for the same program collapse into one embed, and new in-scope assets group per program — so an active repo lands as a tidy summary instead of flooding the channel. Each embed links back into the app.
Delete the webhook in Discord (or Pause the card) and delivery stops. We respect Discord’s rate limits (backing off and retrying when throttled); if the channel keeps rejecting deliveries the destination auto-disables — fix it in Discord, then Resume.
Limits
Up to 10 destinations across Discord and webhooks combined. One channel per destination — add several to fan different filters into different channels.
